Pianomom Introduction

Hi! I came to this website through my husband dbackers who encouraged me to sign up. He has been trying to sign me up for a while, but due to our four young boys, I have not had the time. My husband thinks I need to speak to adults more, and that this site might be a good outlet for me. We have four boys under the age of 8, and will be having our 5th boy next week. My interests include: playing with and caring for my family, playing the piano, cub scouts, and church service. Honestly, I don't have a whole lot of spare time to have lots of interests. The boys keep me very busy! Baseball season is approaching, and I will be actively involved in that for a while. I look forward to chatting with everyone!

I was reading your other post about being busy with your 5 boys and I am wondering if you look forward on having a girl next or you're quite happy if you have all boys. I have three boys and just love it! Yes, they're wild and all that but they're great. I would like 1 more boy and then 2 girls.

I enjoy the boys! I wouldn't mind a little girl, but I am so in the boy mode now, I hope I would remember what it is like to be a girl. I am one of the boys. I will take boys or girls whatever God chooses to send me (if that's how it works--that might be a good thread sometime--whether God chooses what sex is sent to you or if it is purely biological). There were times in our married life, when we were unable to have children, so I am just so thrilled just to be able to have children. Yes, boys are very busy but lots of fun! I do have a time limit though. I want to be finished having children when I am 35. I have a few more years so we will see if we are lucky enough to have more. The age restriction is because I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was a teenager and I know it may get worse. It is awesome when I am nursing or pregnant, but as I get older, it may get worse and I don't want to have health risks or complications for me or the baby.
