Yesterday, I was shocked when I saw on "Extra" that one of my favourite guys was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is so peculiar that this information was leaked by one of the tabloids. Normally, I don't ever believe anything the tabloids report but I am curious though, how did they find out about Patrick Swayze's health crisis? I really hope he makes a full recovery because if he dies, I will be on the first plane to attend his funeral!

Rather off topic, but... I will always remember Patrick Swayze for his song "She's like the Wind;" I remember playing this song at least twenty times a day (no exaggeration). The way he sings this song sends chills down your spine! Then again, I might be a bit biased! The movie he acted in with Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, "Ghost," was fantastic! I loved watching him leap so gracefully into the air and right through the door! I suppose most women would agree that the best part of this particular movie was the scene with Demi Moore making a pot out of clay? Well I don't think anyone cares about what Demi was making but that love scene with Patrick, oh la, la, la! During the movie, I cried when he was murdered, I cried even more when he tried to communicate with Demi and I practically bawled, after he left Demi to go to heaven! Patrick Swayze has won the hearts of many women, in that movie!

Only 48Kilos. It sounds as if he is on his final leg. I hope that he can continue to fight. As a actor I think he was a great guy.

I believe that Patrick Swayze and Farah Faucett are both on their death beds. Pancreatic cancer is very difficult to treat and the doctors perhaps indicated this to Patrick Swayze. I distinctly remember a recent interview right after he revealed to the public that he had cancer, the interviewer asked Patrick Swayze, if he smokes. He nodded, knowing what the next question would be. She then asked if he believed that the cancer could be connected to the smoking. He nodded again and said yes. The interviewer asked that inspite of knowing this, he will continue to smoke; again, Patrick Swayze nodded. I think he knows his fate. I suspect the doctors painted a grim picture of his health and he has given up. He knows he is going to die and hence the reason why he will continue to smoke. If he had a fighting chance, then he would obviously give up smoking.
