He needs to focus more while on the show, I think he may take for granted that everybody loves him but he needs to remain focus. What a nice kid, very talented. Besides singing so good, he plays the piano wonderfully.
Archuleta dismisses gossip about father, is likely to go to finals
On a day when gossip and innuendo about his father threatened to spin out of control, David Archuleta did what David Archuleta does best - displayed his amazing vocals. He may not have wowed the "American Idol" judges as much on Tuesday night as he has in some other weeks, but the consensus was that the Davids - Archuleta and Cook - are headed for the finals next week.f

He is the runner-up of American "Idol" 2008. I think he did an amazing job and he is only 17 years old! But he was too comfortable with pop songs and sweet songs that did not risk too much. In any case, he was my favorite to win the title and I am sure there are now literally dozens of recording labels waiting in line for him to sign. Good job, David!
Archuleta glad to be home - and crowd is crazy about him
WEST VALLEY CITY - David Archuleta had nothing to worry about when he said he wanted to "make Utah proud" during an interview with the Deseret News Monday afternoon. A few hours later, the screams were deafening when he appeared at American Idols Live concert at the E Center. In fact, the screaming audience made it impossible to hear Murray's "American Idol" runner-up sing his version of Robbie Williams' "Angels." It was obvious a lot of the 10,000-plus audience members were there to see the "American Idol" runner-up but not necessarily hear him.
