Teachers call for ban on homework
A union conference motion proposes that homework be abolished for primary school age children.

I don't have anything against homework, actually I think it helps in the whole learning process but looking at some children's books I cannot believe the AMOUNT of homework they get, it is beyond ridiculous. Pages, and pages and pages. I don't think it serves any purpose if the amount is that much.

I think homework should be just work that they cannot finish in school. But I have to agree with LDS_forever that the amount of homework pilled onto kids shows that they have too much. I think teachers are loading our kids with homework because they do not want to teach kids. THey want the kids to learn without proper guidance. Like teaching a person to swim by throwing them in a river. Makes no sense to me.
