Yes I started a AD&D play by post game. You do not need to be there a lot, You do not need to keep a certain % to play. Just come in with a character and once approved you can start to play. Join with others to go explore a local ruins or a cave that may or may not lead to treasure.

That's cool but what % do I need, I'm already on 18.I'll take a look at there again but I'm still a bit confused about creating a character.

There is no activity requirement to play in the AD&D play by post. You can go here Source 9 to get to the character generator. That will help you create the character you want.
