One of the premiere beliefs of the Jews is that they claim God made them His chosen people above other peoples. Do you feel as a person that has the literal blood of Israel flowing through your veins that you are somehow chosen by God himself or do you feel equal to all mankind? Regardless to your answer please expound.
By Jewish custom, they are not the physical chosen human race of God. Being the chosen ones meant they where to make sacrifice for the rest of the world and peoples. They where the ones that God used to talk to us down here. By that reasoning, when other nations conquered them, it was rebellion against God, not hate against them.
As a decendent of Jews I do feel that they are a very chosen people, it was through the teachings of the Prophets that tells us that the Messiah would come, not only for Israel, but for all the world. I don't claim to understand my ancestors belief 100% put they are a chosen people.

It appears that the Jews produce more prophets than any other people. It appears throughout history that the message of God to man comes from the Jew. This does not mean that the Jews are better or worse than their fellow man. It merely means that the purpose of the Jewish nation is to teach God to mankind.
Although other prophets give their followers great insights toward understanding life and God, it appears that the Jewish Prophets including the Prophet Yeshua provide mankind with the best and truest information.
