The Justice Department has approved a much-anticipated merger between Delta and Northwest, clearing the way for the creation of the world's largest airline. Wednesday's decision caps a six-month Justice Department investigation of the deal.

This is going to be interesting as these two companies fly a lot of planes to my airport. It will be interesting on how they redistribute the air carriers around the concourses to put these two together.
