McCafe
Known more for its McNuggets and Big Macs than its coffee, fast-food giant McDonald's is now trying to make its name with lattes and cappuccinos. The Illinois-based company is hoping to tap into the $60 billion beverage industry by adding specialty coffees to its new McCafe menu. Along with the fancy drinks comes an overhaul of its restaurants, with the addition of flat screen TV's, wi-fi internet and even fireplaces in select locations.

I think that part of the problem is that McDonalds uses disposable paperware, so any type of coffee in a paper cup isn't going to taste too super anyway!
If they stand any chance of breaking into the coffee world, in my opinion, this should be one of the first things they look into, as nobody is going to pay a latte price for a coffee in a paper cup.
DianC you are absolutely correct. Paper cups are awful it is one reason I think Tim Horton's coffee stinks. I might get hung for that but it is not a great cup of joe,, just convenient as it is on every corner here. There are far better and cheaper place to stop but their hours of operation are not as pleasing as Timmies.
