Aren't those types like natural born killers? Just check Chinatown anywhere in the US and you'll know what I mean. They did a good job of it during world war two before we aced them with the A.

Yes, guns are illegal in Japan. They also have a fascination/romanticism of swords and knifes from the Shogun period, which is still popularly revisited on television and through books today.

Japan is a really closed society and people are not really that free to express themselves. I think that is why you see people snap a bit more there than in other places. The suicide rate is still very high amongst young people.

Frenzy Stabbing Japanese

It is interesting the choices a society makes when it causes great stress among its younger generation. TO see a person snap and try to take out a lot of people with a knife is not a good thing. I think Japan needs to look at what it is doing to its own people and find out why stress levels are so high there.
