Do you remember that Gordon Brown in the UK sold off a lot of their gold reserves when it was trading at $275 an ounce? He's not highly regarded for that.

It's crazy, isn't it? I've been watching precious metals prices because of an analyst's comment that it would go well over $2,000/oz. Scary thought. Especially since at the same time oil is skyrocketing. I think it just means we'll have persistent inflation for a few years -- or another market crash.
