UFOs & The Paranormal - Page 2

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object

Paranormal = Extrasensory perception

Can an unidentified object be considered paranormal? The answer is "yes", especially because of the word "unknown". That's why you can't say a plane is paranormal, because it is known and can be seen and heard without any extrasensory perception.

Paranormal and UFOs

A ufo can both be seen and heard. It can be watched moving across the water or the sky. Many have watched one land and even take off again. They have physically seen the marks in a field or on a plot of land where one rested. SO I have no doubts that a ufo is not a paranormal experiance.

You mean people think they have seen this or that. To date their have been no conclusive evidence of UFO activity other than what people say they have seen, just like paranormal activity.

In the 50s the US air force had a team that looked into UFO reports. They called it project blue book. IF memory serves me well, (trust me there are times it has not), they have some cases that they could not explain that involved a strange object both seen or heard. Usually by more than one person. There has been too many cases like this plus with the a Government study claiming there is reason to believe they exist I place UFO in the believable column.

SInce I have yet to ever see a ghost that is not on a tv show I doubt they really exist. I have even gone to places where people say is haunted. I still have yet to see a ghost so they in my opinion are paranormal and may not exist.

This is my own personnel opinion and I feel they are both separate

Paranormal and UFOs

Some dictionaries associate UFOs with the paranormal. I think some people like UFOs to fall under science fiction, so they want to keep it separate.

I think those dictionaries are wrong then. I do not hold UFOs as science fiction. I hold them as a flying object that is above our current science facts. Having seen a couple personally I do not doubt that they exist. When there is sound and motion it is hard to ignore. This is why I view the two as two separate studies

I saw one recently; a slow moving, silver, sausage shape moving across the sky.
I was waiting for a bus after a day at work, it was a clear sky and the craft appeared very high, it was not an air ship or any aircraft in my knowledge.
So it was a Flying and Unidentified Object.
I followed it with wonder, then I jumped on the bus.

Harkon man, where was your digital camera at the time? They have small enough ones that can fit in your pocket, especially as you seem to be fortunate to have these extra special encounters often.

As for the Topic I believe both UFOs and the Paranormal can be the same at times and other times not. For instance an object may be unidentified from a distance and then become identifiable later. However, this is usually not the case with Paranormal activity.
