I don't know where this figure of £100,000 comes from, Welsh Members of the Assembly don't get paid that much.
Council workers are bin men, grass cutters and admin staff, they are the ones I am thinking of, so how they can pay this to their senior staff?
I know though council offices can be closed shops; it's very difficult to get a job there unless you have a relative or someone you know to let you in the door.
Some offices have whole families working together.
