I would let my children try this. I really like that they have "different" roles that children will be able to explore and give feedback on. I think it is a safe environment to learn about the workings of society without having to go through the pain of mistakes they make. If they learn what happens first maybe they wouldn't be so quick to make it in the real world where the consequences are real.
