I believe we exist and co-exist on many different levels of energy in time and space.
If we can become open to perceive our guides, guardians of nature or even those that remain, it can enrich our lives,
What Religion one follows doesn't matter, if we are aware, even for a second of a little magic, even in just a pleasant coincidence, our smile adds to the tapestry of cosmic wonder.
How does one become "open" as you put it to all of these phenomenon?
They say that children experience more than adults when it comes to a little magic. Many have imaginary friends and notice animals and birds, even otherworldly beings in a way they soon forget.
As we grow older the rat race of life takes over, we lose our innocence in a material world.
What we can do is first listen to ourselves, then to our environment. The natural world has wonders, the spiritual world can open up to us if we relax and perceive many subtle things that so many people overlook.
The key is to slow down and look to the far horizon.
That does make sense since it is our lack of perception that prevents us from enjoying many things in life. For Christians your method should be clear enough as it is the same way one prepares to communicate or listen to "Gods will". You wish to be filled with the holy spirit one dedicates and open the mind to his touch for some it comes like a tile wave for other it is a simple warm presence. I am thinking to be more open to things might be limited by one own personality traits. That is are you high energy and all you do is extreme or if you are quiet reflective person.
Being aware of ethereal beings?
Experiencing a person's aura?
Meeting your Guardian Angel?
Being ridden by an Animal Spirit?
The list of paranormal stimulus goes on and on.
But you cant say that Christians don't believe in magic. Christ must have been a very magical being. The Catholic Mass is a powerful spiritual ritual, and talking to God or Saints is just the same as communing with Animals, Trees and Elementals.
In a way Pagan spirits are more real, you can see them in the Material Plane.
I have to agree with Harkon here. I know christians frown upon those who preform magic but there is magic in this world and even the bible has some magic in it. To ability to speak in tongues is one of those. I would be a poor christian if I did not believe there is magic in this world of ours. Those who do not believe in the magic around us are missing part of the wondrous world we live in. Granted children are more in tune to it that us adults but it is still there. I hope someday to be able to see my guarding angel so I can apologize for some of the things I have led it through.
