North Dakota Senate OKs Pro-Life Bill Banning Most Abortions
The North Dakota state Senate today approved legislation that would have the state banning most all abortions. The measure stops any abortions after the first 6 weeks of pregnancy.
The legislation will not likely be upheld in court should it ultimately become law, but that hasn't stopped legislators in North Dakota from pushing the measure as a possible test case in an attempt to overturn Roe. Ref. Source 7
North Dakota Gov Faces Death Threats After Signing Abortion Ban
The governor of North Dakota is facing death threats following his signing of a bill that would ban abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy and another to stop abortions on disabled babies.
According to "Stand up for Women ND," a Facebook group created to oppose the new abortion legislation and personhood amendment in North Dakota, Governor Dalrymple is receiving death threats from pro-abortion activists after signing three anti-abortion laws passed by the North Dakota House and Senate. Judge's Ruling Makes North Dakota First to Ban Abortions Based on Down Syndrome
A judge's ruling dismissing part of an abortion center's lawsuit against a North Dakota law that bans abortions on disabled unborn children on the basis that they are disabled makes the state the first to have such a ban in place.
With the governor's signature on the ban earlier this year, North Dakota has become the first state to ban abortions based on genetic "defects" like Down Syndrome. When diagnosed before birth, such genetic abnormalities prompt couples to have abortions 90 percent of the time. Ref. Source 8

While the federal government and most states are fully prepared to push unlimited abortion on demand paid for at taxpayer expenses without any limits whatsoever, some governments still understand that human rights begin when human life begins - at conception, before birth. North Dakota Settles With Abortion Activists on Admitting Privileges Law Lawsuit
As of this morning, there are no further details to a bare-boned story that came out of North Dakota yesterday, reporting that pro-abortionists and the state of North Dakota had 'settled a lawsuit" over a 2013 law that abortionists have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the abortion clinic.
