Oakville town councillors have unanimously passed a new bylaw baning teens under the age of 18 from using indoor tanning beds.

Banning? That seems silly. What if the teens had parental supervision? Did the law say anything about that?

Besides, the law has a loophole. It specifically specifies 'indoor'. All the teen needs to do is move the tanning bed outside before using it, and it would be legal.

I wish you were wrong but someone will try it. I do think that written parental consent should be mandatory as teens get to wrapped up in current fades which could be very unhealthy.
