Boy Suspended For Sniffing Marker

Yes you read the headline correctly! Eight year old Eathan Harris was suspended by Principal Chris Benisch of Harris Park Elementary school, for sniffing a Sharpie marker. Little Eathan decided to make a small mark on the sleeve of his sweatshirt with his black Sharpie marker and smell it. He thought it smelt nice. Unfortunately, his teacher saw him and ordered the poor boy to the principal's office. The principal suspended little Eathan for three days but changed his sentence, oops I mean suspension, to one day, after receiving protests by the boy's parents. I don't know what a sharpie marker is, but if it's used in the school then it supposed to be safe. If not the parents should be suspending the school!
