Would Snoop Dogg Be Accepted?
I was looking at the Snoop Dogg thread where someone played an April Fools joke and said that Snoop Dogg converted to the Mormons. I was just wondering, would a guy like Snoop Dogg be accepted into the Mormon faith if he wanted to join?

If he were able to accept the covenants that one makes when one is baptized then he would be fully accepted into the Church.
From Mosiah 18:8-10 in the Book of Mormon:

If snoop Dog had a desire to do these things then he would be accepted without question.

So you do not restrict people of a certain race or background? Would Snoop have to stop making his pimp music and being a 'player'?

There is no restriction on race or background(there are certain standards that one takes on when he or she dedicates his or her life to Christ.). When entering the Church of Christ,it is more important who you are, and who you want to become, then who you have been.
As to "snoop" having "to stop making his pimp music and being a 'player'"
If you mean he would have to stop having Premarital Sex, and publicly promoting dangerous sexual behavior, yes he would have to do this to be a member in good standing.
Accepted Dogg Snoop Would
"Snoop" will also need to stop using drugs. As far as background is concerned, that depends on what you mean, some sins, like murder, or any other major sin, would require him to not only confess them, but he would have to surrender to the police, and confess to them all the illegal things he has done in his life.
You can't be baptized if you are in jail, probation, or parole.
