1 c Butter or margarine; -softened 1 c Sugar 1 c Brown sugar; firmly packed 2 Eggs 2 2/3 c All-purpose flour 2 ts Baking soda 1/4 ts Salt 2/3 c Peanut butter 2 ts Vanilla extract Recipe by: Southern Living Cream butter; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, mixing well. Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture, and beat until smooth. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla; chill dough at least 1 hour. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cookies cool slightly before about 7 dozen. |
