Psychology Of Criminals 5

Traumatized, desperate people who kill abusive relatives and others (like to support a drug habit) but lack significant traits. Genuinely remorseful.

Then they were not necessarily in control over themselves at the time? Debatable!

Notes about this Topic: There was a documentary called, "Most Evil" (Discovery Channel) with forensic psychiatrist Michael Stone who rates murderers on a scale of evil that he developed. This is one of many Threads with the same title I would like to Discuss.

I believe evil individuals are completely in control of what and who they have become.

Some have said that these individuals are only this way because they have a lower self esteem and it causes them to do things outside of the realm of normal actions.

But if you talk to any individual who is truly evil, they have a very high self esteem. They justify their behavior because they are the center of the Universe, and want to control everyone else because it gives them power.

Evil people who do evil things know what they are doing, because they calculate the situation to control the situation.

By saying they have no control over their actions, social scientist and phycologists are only excusing bad behavior, a dangerous thing to do in a healthy society.

There have been many cases on this. If a person fearing another for their life because of abuse whether physical, mental or sexual can be classified as self defense in many cases. IF a family member kills someone to protect another from this type of abuse can at times claim self defense in keeping another free of harm. It is when they do it when their victim is helpless or not doing anything that give this type of murder so much gray area.

I guess this is one of those types where after everyone is dead they ask themselves what they did, by that time who cares.

It is one of those things where a abused child turns and kills people or burns down a house with her abuser in the house. It usually turns out sad because the one who suffered all those times is the one who is punished. I feel that is not right to cause them more abuse for freeing themselves because the system just would not listen.
