Borat is REALLY funny in the same way that the bigotted, Archie Bunker was in "All in the Family". If you can see the humor in their ignorance, you will have no problems with Borat and will highly enjoy the experience. If you are easily offended by insensitive and ignorant comments, then this definitely is not the movie for you! Unfortunately or fortunately, for me, this is a guilty pleasure. The exposing of stereotype and general hypocracies are such fuel for comedy. It is a lot like watching South Park for me...

Look out in the future though. It seems that Sacha Cohen's next assult on your funny bone will be a "gay Austrian fashion reporter".

He is getting paided pretty good for the next film, so he must be entertaining someone other than me. What a guilty pleasure this film is!

I'm really excited about seeing this movie. Nearly every critic has said it is very funny and that it may be the funniest movie of the year. It is supposed to make fun of culture, religion, society, and humanity in general, turning a mirror back at ourselves and learning to laugh at our selves. I think it will be hysterical if its anything like the preview for it. Borat looks to be a rip roaring gut buster for older teens or adults. I doubt that children would either get it or that it will be appropriate for them.

Is it possible that Borat is a real person? I definitely see a lawsuit in the making here. It might be impossible to prove, but wouldn't it be really funny to get these 2 guys in a courtroom together?

A Turkish Internet celebrity is so convinced he was the inspiration for
Sacha Baron Cohen's "Borat" character, he's traveling to London seeking an apology and a way to get paid from the film's surprise success.

Wow...everyone wants a piece of his success. Now, it looks as though some college guys are attempting to get a little extra cash for their tuitions. I really have to wonder what school they were going to if they really thought this movie wouldn't be shown in America...

I mean really....the movie is in english and definitely has "animal house" style humor. Where did they think it was going to be played? However, if they were truly duped, then there is a lawsuit potential.

I can't believe the lawsuits that are being levelled at Sacha Baron Cohen. Can people get a life?

I've seen clips from his new Borat film on YoutTube.com and plan to see the movie in a couple of weeks. Yes, he makes fun of ignorant Americans, but he has been doing this to people from every country he visits for a long time.

In fact, Ali G was far worse when this Cohen charachter visited the US. He preys on people who cannot understand he is taking the piss. I find it hilarious. If people are stupid enough to start making drunk, racist rants while a camera is rolling then they should deal with the consequences. Not sue. What is this world coming to where people can be openly racist in front of a camera and then threaten legal action for showing it.

Looks like his produciton crew duped the ettiquete school owner. This stuff is a riot and I do hope that he doesn't get into too much trouble from it. I know that it is low brow, but the ignorance of bigotry and general stupidity are so darn funny!
