Are UFOs & The Paranormal connected or is it two separate things?

I would say that UFOs and the Paranormal are two complete separate things.

I would say that UFOs are one of two things. Either they are beings from a distant planet or they are future humans coming back in time to check out the past. Either is a very viable conclusion.

I have seen a UFO a couple of times.
In my opinion they are more scientific than spiritual.
They are a product of technology not magic.

Yes a UFO is some sort of physical presence whether another species or our own visiting from else where.

I have read some "Alien " visits are more in the idea of the future creating a portal to the past and could be mistaken or viewed as a "spectral" visit.

I tend to think of the Paranormal being spirits or a force exerted by ones own spirit on the move.

By definition a Paranormal is any thing that tends to lack in scientific explanation. hence UFO is often grouped here due to the inability to prove exactly what they are.

What about people who claim to have met alien beings?
I have a friend who claims to have met a Gray in her house.
Is she mad? Or is the chance of encountering an extra terrestrial just as much as meeting an earthly spirit?

I have no reason to think she is mad. I have no doubt the creatures exist. Question is can we explain them. If not does that make them A paranormal?

Can you ask her for me if she smelt coffee before the appearance? I am asking this in a serious inquiry as I have heard many do. A friend of mine claimers he was abducted, a normally solid individual now missing two days. He never seen the abductors.

I don't know if she smelt any coffee, she could have been in the kitchen though.
Only once did I come across any beings I could see as Paranormal; on a beach, I was warned not to stay the night there. If they were Fairies or Aliens I shall never know. But I didn't stay long enough to find out.
There are many stories of Encounters that are definitely not Normal by any stretch of the imagination.

It's easy to say they are separate, but since none of us here are experts and since both of them exist in the realm of the 'unknown' still, we can't dismiss that they might be the same thing. Remember beam me up Scotty? See how they materialize, just think that alien technology could probably form that in the form of a ghost. Maybe ghosts are actually observers that cannot be seen.
