I do not think this is just a problem with Toyota vehicles. Any vehicle that has a floor mat can cause this. I know as people get in and out of their cars they really do not pay attention to their floor mats until it gets stuck under or over the accelerator and they have a hard time controlling the speed of their auto. I know some companies are placing a ring in the drivers side floor mat that hooks over a small peg on the floor making it harder for that floor mat to ride up and cause problems with the foot pedals.

There have been over 200 accidents from these stuck accelerators. It is a serious problem and Toyota owners are angry for answers.
