There was no mention of any prior case, it seems it was just her and him. He was obviously in need of 'services' and found a way to coerce her into being with him, or maybe it was the other way around, one can never know.

Just recently, some police officers were involved in something similar. It seems like they go to these police raids, put the women in custody and then force them to do certain things in exchange of letting them leave the country without no record or possibility of persecution.

I am not the least bit surprised about this. After all, these are the same police officers who are involved in most of the kidnappings and other violent crimes in this country. We have a lot of corrupted officers on the police force and maybe we should enlist the assistance of Scotland Yard, to "weed out" all the bad eggs in our police force.

If persons were to be charged for harboring illegals then half of Trinidad would have been behind bars. What with all the Guyanese, Vincentians and our brothers and sisters from China , India and God knows where else. It sounds to me like a vendetta it's not like he's an immigration officer . If you meet a woman will you ask if she's here legally? it ain't like you're looking to get hitched!
