Catholics Helping Mexicans Cross US Border?
I was watching a Fox News debate about a border town in Mexico run by the Catholics as a refuge for the thousands of Mexicans getting ready to cross the border into the US illegally. The debate was whether the Catholics are helping 'criminals' or whether they were fulfilling Gospel duties by helping the poor and needy who might otherwise die trying to cross the border. The argument against is that the Catholic Church is losing a lot of members in the US and this would be a ways of filling up the Catholic churches n the US. I find the argument a bit ridiculous. What are your thoughts?
If they are helping illegals in crossing the border then they should be arrested and put in jail for the crime. Noone is above the law and they should not be able to hide behind the church as a way to get by with a crime. Shoot the illegals make them see that we will deal harshly with those that cross our border illegaly
