Baby Tooth Discoloration

Baby Tooth Discoloration

If your child hits their tooth on a toy, door or other object and the tooth becomes discolored should there be reason to worry if the tooth does not shake or bleed?

Discoloration Tooth Baby

If the tooth discolors it is very likely nerve or root damage has occurred. To worry about no, as it will eventually fall out and be replaced with a healthy adult tooth. Now the concern is the gum and jaw bone you will need to ensure no real damage has been done there. Swelling is likely to occur but sharp points might indicated fractures of tooth or bone and might need to be looked after.
