Six baby cough medicines pulled
Popular cough remedies for babies are being removed from the shelves amid fears of potential overdoses.

I watched the news report on this, and the main concern seemed to be that the parents could be overdosing accidentally by buying on the shelf products and giving the child a couple of these treatments with the main active ingredient being in both = overdosing in double quantities.
What I can't figure, is why don't they make better awareness through posters, etc, and clearly state the dangers on the bottle?
It clearly needed addressing, but I think they've gone about it the wrong way. I've never treated any child with more than 1 product at a time, common sense leads you to that conclusion, what I find is quite surprising is how many parents out there are obviously mixing their medicines!
