Is this bed cool? I would like one for 'my' room. I could imagine Felipe with this!

I love this type of bed, I think it must really help a child's imagination, but you need quite a bit of room for one of these, I would think.

Twins that I used to be a nanny to, had their own rooms, and Adam had a bed shaped as a ship, and all the bedding and curtains matched, and then an artist had been brought in to paint a 'sea side' complete with sea weed, shells and waves on the wall.

Ethan had his room done as a fire station, same again, all matching with a fire engine bed,and a painting of firemen sliding down the pole, they looked so cool, and the boys couldn't wait to go to bed!

Not having my own home is the only reason I have not created this yet for my Son as space is a definite necessity. Added to this bed I would install actual lights so it could come to life at night. 3-2-1- Blast off!

Do you want Felipe to sleep or be up all night?

I love the bed but I do not think it would help my son to sleep but all the opposite.

Well, of course there would be an 'off' button at the time of sleep - that could be part of the count down to dream land. I think having something like this may help him appreciate having a place to call his own - something every kid needs. (Of course we need an actual home first).

My two boys have such active imaginations, I can only guess at how much they would love this bed! But I am with LDS in thinking that this would most assuredly not help them sleep, but help keep them up all night playing space rangers or something like that. Its already a pain that my youngest has to sleep with five stuffed animals and each have their own sleeping arrangements or they won't be able to sleep.
