CommonMan Introduction

Greetings to whom ever reads this. I am new to this site. The title International Discussion grabbed my attention. In this day and age if one can think of an idea or concept I am sure there is a discussion board or chat room about that very subject.

Like anywhere else I am sure there will be those in here who are intelligent, informed, wise, and visionary just as I am sure there will be those who are ignorant, uninformed, foolish, and vision based on racism and stereotypes. I myself am somewhere between these two extremes on most days, I think.

A little about me: I am the new 40 which is actually 50 in todays years. I am educated and have been around the world and the block a few times. I am family oriented and feel that family is of most importance. I have been married for over 200 years to the same women. I am amazed that she still puts up with me. My kids are all grown and gone (thank god).

My perspective and view is based on my cultural upbringing or should I say Indigenous Thinking or Circular Thinking. I often don't see eye to eye with Western Thinking or the American Way. As Indigenous People we have a different view of history, culture, values, and world view.

All to often in discussion boards I see ignorance and name calling flare when someone is at a loss for words, logic, facts, and has run out of intelligence. I look forward to meaningful and constructive dialogue.
If we knew all the answers, we would just turn the lights on and all go home!
