Worried shoppers 'turn to cash'
Consumers trying to control their finances are increasingly using cash not credit, a survey suggests.

I believe if your having some financial difficulty then yes use cash instead of credit this will help you in the long run get control over your finances and keep you in the black longer. It also forces you to stick to a budget if you keep finding you have too much month or week left from one pay check to the next.
It's best to use cash and not credit for most of your purchases. With the way the economy has gone downhill it's good that people are starting to be wiser with their money. It's okay to use credit if you know you'll have the money to pay for the purchases when your balance is due. Many people are in debt and use credit cards to pay other credit cards. Borrowing to pay other lenders is not wise. It's good that people are starting to buy only what they can afford.
