Can a Holiday be a Celebration and vice versa or are they different?

Same Holidays and Celebrations Are
Celebrations can be unique to the individual while holidays tend to be for large groups of people. Point in case, your birthday is a celebration, getting a promotion deserves a celebration, but they only effect you and those close to you. Holidays effect many people, such as christmas or halloween. These days are holidays celebrated by many people. So the celebration is limited to the person doing it, but the holiday is the occassion for the celebration.
