I wonder if it is that they are perfect or that your love for them makes them appear perfect for you.

I felt in Love a couple of times and I knew it all the way that my chose one is not perfect and overall this was a plus not a minus!

I would say no one is perfect, because even if one fits all of your ideals, that would be his flaw -perfectness.

what is perfection?????? who knows.... but the one thing we should all agree upon is that the gospel is the thing we should follow and that is perfection in all of us.
it dosen't matter what else there is. we marry for the diversity and interest. and if we try to change the other person then we cause them to loose their freedom and why you married them for in the first place.
I believe that a person should be allowed to grow as they desire. and that you should support them in things as well as incourage them. (for the gospels sake) not a hard incourage but threw Kindness and friendship.).

In Love...

Why would somebody perfect fall in love with me? I really would be uncomfortable in a relationship with somebody who was perfect in my eyes, because it would always feel like I was holding her back, or maybe I would feel like I was being looked down upon. When I really fall in love, I know she will be better than me, but we need room to grow together.

To me, there's a difference between somebody being perfect, and somebody being perfect for me. My hunny bunny and I have been in love with each other for nearly six years now, and we both know that neither of us are perfect. We have our flaws, and we have acknowledged them to each other. Some of our imperfections have caused arguements between us, but we get over it.

But, nobody could be as perfect for me as he is. Nobody has ever made me laugh as much as he does. Nobody has ever made me feel as special as he does. We're a support system for one another. We've let each other down in the past, and I'm sure we will in the future, but that doesn't change the fact that we're perfect for each other.

So what you're saying is that the perfect couple isn't made of two perfect people. I agree completely. A perfectly matched couple consists of two people whose strengths and weaknesses are complementary. If both have the same weakness, they strengthen each other in overcoming it, and in the process, they become best friends. That is my hope whenever I enter a serious relationship.
