Wamboltt Introduction

I was quite young when my parents divorced; less than 1 yr. My mother always told me my father had remarried and had other children but didn't know anything about them. A few years ago I tracked my birth father's whereabouts and discovered he had passed away. There was a person listed on his death certificate as his daughter and it wasn't me so I began a search which led me to this website.
My birth father's name was Albert C. Wambolt. He was from Nebraska, lived and married my mother in Idaho, died in Colorado. I believe one of my siblings has posted here as well.

Growing up without your father in your life must have been hard. I think your mother should have tried to make sure you were able to see your father but I understand how hurtful feelings can get in the way at times. I went over three years without seeing my girls. I am glad I see them now. The eldest daughter does not talk to me as much but it is ok we will get it worked out.

Sorry to hear your father has passed. I hope you get connected with his other children so you can learn what kind of man he was.
