A new music-tech pairing arrived this week, though it's not nearly on such a grand scale. The Beamz laser music system, from a Scottsdale, Ariz., company called Beamz Interactive, is a funky, $600, W-shaped, music-playing contraption that connects to a Windows PC via USB and works off six laser beams.
