What are your thoughts about Agritourism? Do you feel it has a future or is it just a passing phase?

Passing phase no I think so many today have never seen a working farm so it is a viable business as a side line for a farm. No different then horse back riding is for a horse farm.
Where I live many farms do tours and such but the real money is in the fresh baked goods and produce they buy. Farming always has been a mix of products to sell as oe cannot depend of just one or you might be wiped out. The tours ad produce is just a refinement on this.

Agritourism UFO & Writing Art Education Sciences
Not far from where I live is a placed called living history farms. It is a place dedicated to how farming has evoled over time. You can go see how early settlers had to farm and how turn of the century (1900) people farmed. I believe there is a 1920s one there too. They even have a future farm where everything is automated. I think it is worth going to and seeing.
