Omray Introduction

Hi everyone,

I happened on this LDS Deep Doctrine web site and decided to join. I am from NH and am convert of 30 plus years. I look forward to contributing and learning what people have to say without flaming. As a convert I've observed that in order for investigators (like myself) who shed ties of life long religion and deep family tradition to join another Church, it requires a great deal of courage, independence and even some rebelliousness. Yet, once a member, it's expected that these same traits that enabled them to make this discovery and embrace this new world must be tamed. Obedience then becomes the rule (as it should because its true). I think the challenge for for these rebellious truth seekers who want to continue in their quest is to be careful about who is present when they speculate. Even the High Priest Quorum would be the wrong place to have some discussions if another is weakened by it or even if another topic might be more beneficial. Hopefully, this might be the place I've been looking for.
