Help Children To Mature Faster

Two of my boys are VERY slow to mature due to their autistic characteristics. Still I did some research on ways to help children mature faster. Here is what I found in general firstly recognizing that children have limitations and cannot go any faster than their mental capacity will allow them, but please feel free to add to it:

1. Let them meet all sorts of people early
2. Take your kids with you when you go shopping, etc
3. Get them involved with art or sports
4. Talk with them each day, for long time if possible
5. Give them a 'job' to do around the year or house
