More than 10,000 fugitives wanted for murder, rape, child abuse and other crimes have been arrested in the largest coordinated crackdown by federal, state and local law enforcement officials in history.

Fugitives cross state lines to freedom
Across the United States, police and prosecutors are allowing more than 186,000 fugitives- including more than 3,300 accused of sexual assaults, robberies and even murder- to escape justice merely by crossing a state border, a USA TODAY investigation finds.
