Teen kept for 3yrs was tortured, raped
A MAN has received just 12 years jail for keeping a teenager captive for three years, raping her and dipping her head in cooking oil. [..] The 44-year old man was found guilty of "a depraved and humiliating period of sexual and physical abuse" on the homeless teenager. What an awful story. I am shocked that they gave this man only 12 years in prison after the horrendous abuse he put this girl through! Why the judge did not give him a harsher sentence? Completely unacceptable! There is something really wrong with the justice system everywhere these days. And why is the law protecting the identity of the perpetrator! I understand the victim, but not the perpetrator, they should publish his name!
