POLIO BEATEN BACK IN 10 AFRICAN COUNTRIES, WHO SAYS - The World Health Organization says a polio epidemic has been stopped in 10 African countries, although the disease is still spreading in Nigeria and the agencies fighting it need $200 million US to launch a new immunization campaign next year.

This is something the entire world should stand against, not just the US. Its important to keep other countries from getting these horrible diseases as much as it is in ours. a polio epidemic hurts everyone and keeps it around to change and mutate into something else. I hope and support the US and other countries send money to help stomp out diseases we can prevent like polio in Africa and all continents.
