“If you gentlemen want to wait here, I have no objections! It will give me time to practice and familiarize myself with some of my newer summons.” I will then go and check on the amount of “rent” due for Burke and Piter too. We have not been gone for long, but I do not want to put a burden on Oleg.
Out of Character: ICon, I've made a note on my character sheet for you.
Thank you Oleg.*I'll write a note to Greg explaining the situation and area* Here is the letter I need delivered*I'll tell him exactly were to*, and I am not sure exactly how much I will need, it really depends on how much trouble is abound in these lands.
I'll go and sit with Mykael and drink some, not enough to get blitzed though. Yes, it is called a musket by the way.
Out of Character If we are taking two days of time waiting, I would like to use the downtime rules to earn extra xp so I'm not quite so far behind the others.
"A hat of disguise? What a curious item indeed. Of course endlessly useful for a werewolf evading the law. I can offer up to 500 gold right now and a further 400 in trade credit. I need to hold onto some coin."
Burke wouldn't mind reading any book to occupy his time, perhaps religious texts. Piter is not so strong at reading and would prefer something like a manual for farming or a botany book.
It's actually Kesten that offers to fit the chain mail. He says it's a skill that he picked up early on in the military, and it helps when you have to equip your men from the spoils of the fallen. He doesn't even charge Mykael but is glad he has something simple to do that passes the time. He offers to do the other set for Zork, unless Zork is keeping his old armor.
Oleg offers Mykael space in the locked storeroom of his house. He leads to the end of the entrance hall and the third door on the right, beside the stuffed Tatzlwyrm, is the storeroom. Inside are 3 barrels, a variety of unlit light sources, rope, tents and a few weeks worth of dried food. "I can also order you a large chest for 10 gold with an average lock for 40 more or a good lock for 80. Just in case you want that added security. But just for the space, well, let's include it in the rent."
Theaton and wolf practice outside chasing rabbits and weasels, running around and playing catch. It responds quickly to familiar commands, but gets confused about a quarter of the time. More complicated commands are only successful one in 5 times until Theaton uses his spell to clearly communicate what he wants the wolf to do. When training is over, the wolf says, "My first master hasn't named me yet."
Back inside the walls, Oleg meets with Grogdrol when the message is written. "I'll keep this in confidence and since I don't have any guests heading up that way, I'll take it myself and do some business in New Stetven. Svetlana can be in charge while I go. I think I charged Mykael 8 gold for his message last time. It's a fair price."
Oleg informs everyone that he will leave for New Stetven tomorrow morning and all business can be directed to Svetlana.
Mykael and Grogdrol sit on the benches under the stars and the bright moon. The campfire is only a few burning embers after the roast wolf had been cooked and served. Svetlana offers quality ales, watering it down imperceptibly as Mykael seems to get drunker.
With only 3 rooms available in the guest house, who is roughing it? Who's sharing a bed?
Out of Character: Diarmadhim, unfortunately the guardian protects your personal notes from all eyes. Even I can only see the GM note when I edit it.
KenGorbutt, the earning XP rules are absolutely fine to use. The party used it the time before last when they were at the post.
I'll rough it, it's not the first time I've had to sleep under the stars, likely won't be the last. Thank you again Oleg*hand him the 8 gold*.
Out of Character Okay, I just wanted to make sure.
"You may have my room Grogdrol. I actually have a tent that I can use and I am not sure if I will even stay at the fort for the next couple of nights."
On the night the fey approach me:
Chuckling, I reply in a whisper, "I can not choose the colors of things I summon, and I do not know how to summon things such as that, yet, but I will do what I can."
Out of Character: I didn't realize you couldn't see our character notes. I had replied, via my character notes. I guess there's no way for us to contact you privately? That sucks - I really don't want anyone to accidentally meta-game with what I'm wanting to do. Is there some way for us to converse privately? As is, I've brought it up in the Guardian thread - and while JB is an amazing coder, I don't know if he will implement a tool or how long it might take. My fingers are crossed though! During the downtime I have something I would like to do, but I don't want to post it just yet.

Zork intends to keep his armor and will wait for Oleg to return with the goods. Zork doesn't share a bed with anyone unless it were a maiden in the party he might make an exception but considering everyone looks of whiskers he rather rough it if he has no choice but he does offer to cast lots for it.
Out of Character: Highest roll of a D20 gets his own room and bed? Diarmadhim isn't that what your seeking part of the special membership they offer? Although, I must admit its a bit of a relief that you can't have a private talk with the Dungeon Master to sway the story.
Mykael expresses his gratitude to Kesten for refitting the armor for him and to Oleg for allowing him to store his items in the store room. "I will go ahead and order the chest and an average lock for it" he tells Oleg and hands him 50gp for the items, he will hold onto his great uncle's scale mail until Kesten has finished refitting the chain mail. Once he has the chain mail though Mykael will carefully and respectfully place the scale mail in the storage room to await the arrival of the chest.
Mykael with Grogdrol by the embers of the fire carefully running a whetstone along the blade of his long sword, occasionally stopping to take a swig of ale from the mug failing to notice that it has been watered down. He tells Grodgrol about his experiences thus far in the forests, about his time as a guard and his father's desire to see him follow in the foot steps of his great uncle and become a sword lord. "What about you" he asks Grogdrol while they sit and drink, "What is your story?"
After a time he starts swaying a little bit as he sharpens his sword and after nicking his thumb on the blade drawing a small drop of blood he decides that it is time to put the blade away. Mykael sheathes the sword and steadies himself as he stands up "Well I suppose I should call it a night" he announces and staggers off to his room.
Out of Character: : We haven't been out for a month yet Archival, I just wanted to pay Mykael's share of the rent in advance. Math has never been one of my strong suits, am I correct in that individual share of the coin would be 84gp, 4sp, and 8cp? That is without selling the hood. Mykael will pay the gold piece for the use of the room.
Theaton does not come back in that night but stays out in the field close to the forest with his wolf. He will talk to the wolf and ask him what name does he like. Maybe incorporate a nice name that he can enjoy. Theaton is also hoping to talk to the Fey if they are around. He will lay next to the wolf and stroke his fur as they watch the stars. Theaton will speak out loud. "If you are about come on out and chat I am a friend and wish to see if you can help me out around here."
