We will head towards the tree as that seems to be a good vantage point and a nice place to put on the map for easy reference. Theaton will remain extra alert as they continue to see the many little battle scenes. HE thinks to himself that thy are crossing a disputed territory between a couple clans.

It is dark beneath the tree, the large canopy high above blocking out the sun. It's rough bark indicates its old age and the many rough years it has seen.
This doesn't prevent Theaton from seeing faint track marks between the large roots, leading to and from a burrow hidden with long fine roots coated in grass and dirt. The hole is small, of 5 feet in diameter, and roots jut out of the sides allowing for easier climbing, but it is still a vertical shaft.
Theaton will ask Jhod to say his prayers and what else he wants to do to help the old tree. Theaton will check out the tracks and the entrance to the small burrow. He will not attempt to enter the burrow just make sure that nothing is going to harm the party.

"Oh, no," Replies Jhod. "It will be a long process for such a grand tree. I would have to tend to it a few hours each week as well as cast the right spells. And defend it from any threats to its health as well.
"But right now, the task of finding the temple in my vision is much more important. Once that is done, I will be free to do more of Erastil's labour."
Theaton analyses the tracks. They all seem to be bands of tiny creatures all travelling south, or coming from there, with purpose. Theaton believes the tracks to be from Mites, tiny blue fey humanoids with a preference for dark places and cruel pranks. Usually their society structure is Lawful yet Evil, and they consort with all kinds of vermin, holding secret methods which allow them to take vermin as pets and mounts. Theaton has also read one source that suggests even after generations on the Material Plane, they still hold a connection to the First World (The fey plane) and have a weak resistance to weapons other than those made of cold iron.
However, one set of tracks strikes out as very odd. The feet are larger and a different shape. Theaton knows it's the unmistakable foot of a goblin, and it's only direction is into the burrow. His training against goblins goes way back, he knows all the weak points and how a goblin will react in combat. He also knows they have far fewer unique traits than the mites do. But it escapes him what a goblin would be doing in this region, and in a mite burrow?
Theaton will have Shivas put a note on the map about the Mite burrow to be possibly cleared out later. Since they do not see any and none appear as of yet he will lead the party on and worry about coming back here at a later time to clear this possible issue.

You see only hillside ahead of you, so decide to go back to the river as your reference point. Travel is uneventful, as Jhod talks at length about his detailed plans to restore the Old Sycamore.
Starday 23 Pharast
You continue the fanning pattern, returning to the river and heading back out. However, Theaton luckily spots an outcropping of boulders on the side of a hillock, leading to darkness below. What grabbed his attention from afar was a broken sign leaning against the rock and a small structure of sticks.
Theaton will take a look at the sign and then take a look at the building of sorts before he looks into the hole. He will look for any signs of recent activity around the hillock.

As you approach, you see there are tracks similar to the kobold tracks from before, about 8 unique tracks out and 3 in since the rain. They converge between the boulders. From 500 feet away you see more details, the structure is actually a cage made of sticks, half hidden behind a boulder. The signpost has 'Oaktop Silver Mine' written on it (Anyone with ranks in knowledge history can roll to know more, which is nobody in the current party). Theaton also spots a single kobold behind a rock, crouched and on watch.
