Jhod says, "The Thylacine should be more thankful for you saving it, but it is just an animal. I would not hesitate to injure or kill it if attacked."
"As for the wolves, they seem to be quite a common animal here. It's good you have culled their number and not wasted any of the meat. Worgs are more concerning since they are cunning, and have been known to lure people away with their human-like voices. Just be wary."
"Thanks for your offer to help, Theaton, but it is just cleaning and maintaining the temple at this stage. I do not want to start construction without a trained builder or architect."
Jhod will cook and clean with you, helping to maintain equipment while telling tales of his old village.
Night comes around and it is pleasant and warm around Jhod's fire in the cave. Light from the almost-full moon lights up the pool of water brightly and gives a good view of the surrounding forest. It's a relief to be able to sleep uninterrupted in rooms that can be barred from the inside.
Fireday 14 Sarenith
The day starts with Jhod just double checking everyone's saddles. After thanking you for the information, you exchange goodbyes and head off.
Scattered clouds dot the sky and it gets warm by midday. You ford the river at the old bandit camp and stop a few hours later.
Starday 15 Sarenith
This day grows even warmer in the week leading to the summer solstice. The forest canopy above keeps you in a cool shade.
The full moon lights your night, but nothing untoward happens.
Sunday 16 Sarenith
It's another warm day as you emerge from the forest and cross the plains. With two hours before sundown you reach Oleg's trading post.
"Well, you took your time!" Oleg shouts as he opens the gates. "Two weeks, you must have seen everything! You must tell me all about it after we do business!"

"It has certainly been entertaining!" I reply. "I look forward to Mykael's riveting explanation and details of the journey around the fire with a drink in hand," I add, smiling. "How are Burke and Olaf doing?"
After exchanging pleasantries, I head to see Burke and Piter and inquire if they are in need of more reading material. After that I will visit with Kesten.
Zork is surprised by Oleg's pushing but figures he must be getting bored of the fort. He will first make arrangements for a room and for any handlers to take good care of his horse and dog making sure they are groomed and washed. Later in the day he will first hear what Oleg has to say and then decide if he has anything worth purchasing in particular he is interested in: a trained falcon, poison antidotes, and healing potions.
"They are being very helpful," Oleg replies to Archival.
Meeting Burke and Piter, both are quite content with their treatment.
Burke mentions, "I've taken up writing letters to family and friends and am getting faster and neater, but sometimes I write a sentence the wrong way and have to cross it out. Oleg has been good enough to send them for me."
Piter says, "Summer is always a relaxing time for farming, but I had one good opportunity to move my bones. With the fields drying up, Oleg lead us on a trip down to the East Sellen River to collect a cart full of water barrels. We stopped by that crazy alchemist Bokken, who would not stop mentioning his wild brother and his lack of Fangberries for potions. Naturally, we returned by a different route."
Svetlana gladly accepts Zork's (And everyone's) horse and instructions with an, "As always, nothing less."
Oleg goes into his house and brings out a sheet of parchment, saying, "Sorry, Zork, but it says here that you are owing 363 gold, 7 silver and 7 copper to me."
"On that topic… I don't recall you wearing such a nice and shiny set of armor before. I hope you didn't just leave your old set in the forest."
Later on he adds, "When I bought your your war hound, the animal trainer mentioned that the birds took a lot more time and effort and needed some specialised equipment. You might be better off taking 1 or 2 weeks to train with him."
Oleg looks at the skins and the meat, rather unimpressed. "This old Owlbear skin is nice, but the newer one looks like it's been stitched in parts. And this is meant to be Worg hide? I can't really tell with the damage done to it. At least some of the wolf furs are done well. I will give you 40 gold for that lot."
"The meat looks preserved. I guess I could add it to my own stockpile, but I probably couldn't sell it. 15 gold for it all."
Archival then talks to Kesten who also mentions the trip to the river, unimpressed that he had to leave Svetlana with just one guard, while the prisoners had a good chance to escape for a few days. He asks if you have anything more you want to talk about.
Grogdrol the dwarf (Who was totally with you) starts complaining about the weather while out there and the chafing of his saddle. He mentions Archival is a grown man and can take care of himself. Rather than leave immediately, he begins to pen a letter and mentions staying at the trading post for a response.
Out of Character: You also have a Masterwork Bone Mace with carvings of goblins in chains from the Boggard priest, and from the body at the Tatzlwyrm Den you got a pewter drinking stein (Worth 12 gold), a silver ring, a jade carving of a nude female elven monk, and a watertight scroll tube. There might also be a spare set of chainmail and a handful of gems floating around in the party inventory.
Grab what you can before I sell it! (Take the carving)
Also, it didn't occur to me when Zork mentioned his XP total, but since Zork and Theaton are over 15k, they should level up to 6 now. I will also take the opportunity to check your items as I have a few healing potions recorded on Zork's inventory, while Theaton should have consumed one Cure Light.

Mykael goes with Archival to check on Piter and Burke and expresses to them that he is happy that they are being treated well and appear to be well on their way to being reformed and productive members of society. Later, he will check in with Oleg to see if the next payment for the the pair’s rent is due or will be due soon, and if so he pays it.
That evening he will partake in his standard tavern time drinking a few mugs of ale and telling the tales of the party’s adventures and their encounters to anyone who will listen. He also tells of his newly granted powers of healing through the laying on of hands “By the grace of Iomedae”
Mykael agrees to sell whatever the other members of the party want to sell, although he does show interest in the pewter drinking stein. If the others are not insistent on selling it Mykael will take possession of it and use it during his tavern time, after which he stores it in his treasure chest for future use the next time the party returns to Olegs.
Out of Character: I have Theaton at only 13,974 exp. I missed some exp somewhere if you have me over 15K.
Theaton will take the carving of the nude elf monk. He will make sure it is in his saddle bags if no one else wants it. The price for the skins and meat seems fair to him.
"We will sale what others do not want. Maybe pool the gems we have found and sell them to help boost the party fund."
In Character: To Oleg he replies, "Of course, I have not finished my run to get gold yet. They… " he points to the rest of the party. "Wanted to come by here first." He shrugs and then moves off a little making himself busy with taking off his armor so as to not entertain Oleg's rant about money he owes. He adds, "I can pay for the stay for now and the training will be nice, so just add in your interest." He winks.
