Out of Character: With over 1000 feet to cover and only 5 minutes of invisibility, Caelum doesn't have the time to take 20. But it's not such a stressful situation that he can't take 10.
In Character: As Caelum approaches invisibly, he slows when he reaches the path and walks along it, avoiding thorny bushes. At the front gate, he can see the guards haven't reacted to his presence. Also he spots some details about the gate. It opens outwards and behind it is a wooden portcullis as well as a second gate which is a double door and currently open (Clearly the bandits aren't on high alert).
As Caelum scouts around to the east side, he begins to hear a low moan emanating as though from the earth. A short rumble announces the presence of four humanoid creatures bursting from the ground near the eidolon. Their flesh is rotting and missing in places and they look around for prey. Seeing nothing, they continue their low, unearthly moan of pain and hunger.
"Hey!" Comes a shout from above - the guard in the north-east watchtower. "What's going on down there?"
The other two towers don't actually have a view to this position, so the sound of footsteps on wood flooring follows the shout. As they approach, the guard already in the tower rigs up a fire arrow and fires. Unfortunately in the darkness, he hits one of the moving corpses, whose scraps of cloth also begin to burn, shedding light.
"The zombies just came up out of the ground." Comes another voice from above. "There's nobody out there. Maybe a bird or small animals that we can't see."
As they talk, more zombies emerge around Caelum, who has the opportunity to react as though 2 rounds have already passed, and also describe if there's any change in his plan.
Out of Character: I'll try to get a map up. I have a half-finished map of the inside of the fort, but did you want a map of the surrounding terrain? What style do you prefer?

After alerting me to the situation, Caelum will continue searching around the area. If the invisibility spell drops and he comes under danger, I will dismiss him and resummon him at my side. While he searches, I relay the information about the zombies, the open gate, and what the guards said.
Neither the zombies nor the guards hinder Caelum's progress around the fort. The guards just end up a little confused. The zombie on fire is soon immolated and collapses in a heap.
As Caelum reaches the southeast side, he sees a sunken portion of earth and as he walks over it he can feel that there is a hollow portion of earth beneath his feet.
It takes quite a bit of effort to dig the earth without the right tools and trying to remain quiet. A few more zombies dig their way out of the earth and mill around Caelum, attracted to the movement of the earth.
In the south tower the guard is telling everyone he's afraid the undead have come to take all the sinners in the Stag Lord's Fort. Other bandits tell him to shut up or else they'll force him to run outside the walls and check what's going on.
After two minutes Caelum finally reaches something made of stone and another minute later a hinge made of the same material.
However the zombies have started to get agitated and are randomly swiping and biting at unseen targets on the hillside. Some of their attacks come awfully close to Caelum, then one zombie hits his straight on the head by random chance for 14 damage. That zombie groans in surprise then readies another attack.
Both Archival and Caelum also fear that there's not much time left on invisibility, maybe just enough to peek around the remaining perimeter of the fort, but moving at normal speed? (With the -5 penalty)
Or does he disappear, because he's at a long range from you?
Meanwhile, Tyg observes for about 20 minutes before silently gliding back into camp and appearing among you. She says she saw 6 bandits walking around on the upper floors and an additional one leading them, an older looking fellow with long graying hair and some stubble. They all had bows and lit torches.
Also on the top floor is a very big looking man who slept through the entire debacle. On the ground there were two horses as well.
She couldn't see how many zombies there were but it sounded like quite a few. Before she returned they were already digging their way back into the ground, or perhaps it was the ground that was swallowing them back up? It was hard to see clearly but the disappeared quite fast.

In Character: Zork, watching the whole thing from a distance comments, "This should be a good time for the fey to do some trick inside the fort to distract the guards with some random appearances and tricks. Maybe even get them to start a fight."
Out of Character: Any map will do at this point. If you can put surrounding details it will be fine, not wanting to give you a lot of work I'm just looking to see what we're up against.
"Caelum has returned to his home plane. Before doing so, he did find a potential way into the fort. It was a trap door. Sadly, he was forced to leave before covering it back up, so we run the risk of someone noticing the door if we hold our attack… Unless one of our new compatriots is able to go invisible and cover it back up. What truly concerns me is that we do not know if there is a caster inside responsible for summoning those undead. It is odd that the guards were each watching the north path. One would think the surrounding killing field should also be watched… The undead burrowed and unburrowed from the ground. I wonder if it's some sort of magical enchantment to protect the fort?" I creep closer to the area surrounding the fort and cast Detect Magic once within range.
Out of Character: If he's between 100 - 1,000 feet from me, he's at 50% hit points normally. If 1,001 - 10,000 feet, he is at 25% hit points. If he goes beyond 10,000 feet, he is instantly returned to his home plane. He only has 20 hit points (I didn't build him for combat!) normally, so regardless, he disappears and can't return until the next day (After I have slept for the night). When I next summon him, he will appear with just 10 hit points and I can heal him to full.
