"Agreed, we need to take this opportunity before it is lost to us." Mykael nods "We'll need to watch where they are going and move quickly to set up an ambush!"
Unfortunately the two people emerging, one of whom is fat, immediately turn to the east and tenatively step off the path. Leaving the gate open, they go and inspect the area where the zombies had risen in the night. But they look from tens of feet away, making sure to stay within about 10 feet of the fort's wall.
"If I move right now, I can become invisible and potentially make it into the fort. With a little luck I can find a hiding spot to summon from. How far do you think we are from the gate? If I can make it in before they get back inside, I should be able to potentially take control of the mechanism that controls the opening and closing of the gate. I know it is risky - but this might be our best chance. If they spot where Caelum cleared the dirt, they will surely increase their defenses."
"I shall, only if they get close enough to the lake," Arnisa replies. She brushes a hand across Theaton's shoulder and smiles, "We'll be in contact." Then she sprints gracefully towards the river with amazing speed.
Kesten says to Archival, "From here, we're 650 feet away but you'll have to traverse long grasses. If you use the vegetation to take cover down to the path, you have a clear run and a shorter distance to move after you've cast your spell from behind cover, only 350 feet or so.
"What are you going to do in there? Take them all on? Hide until we want the gate open? When is that? How do we communicate with you?"
Zork, still observing, notices a rope being thrown out to the two men outside the fort. Some of the trailing end gets caught in the sharpened sticks of the palisade and the men begin hauling to feed it over the east wall.
About a minute later, in Theaton's head he hears, "I am at the river. Give me another minute to be down by the lakeside."
"When you hear the sounds of battle, you will know when to attack. I should be able to keep them all fairly busy, and with any luck I will be able to wrest control of the gate from them. I do not know how long my summons will last against an unknown number, but I can assure you they will come to fear the Oragor name!" Opting for expediency, I cast Invisibility on myself and take off sprinting along the path toward the gate. When I get just 50 feet from the gate, I will slow down and just double move, looking for the mechanism that controls the gate once I get inside the fort.
Out of Character: Invisibility should last for five minutes. If I run, I can move 120 feet a round. That should put me just 50 feet away after five rounds. With each round being six seconds, I'll still have plenty of time left on my spell to do what needs to be done.

Zork remain alert he relays what he sees about a rope being thrown out to the two men outside the fort. He preps Grizzly and his horse to start a charge towards the front gate when they hear the fighting.
Out of Character: Zork is on a war horse and should be able to get there fairly quickly.
