Always suspicious of everyone and what they could be up to… Zork tries to be nice with her but in his mind he knows there can be no long term relationship. There is just too much to do in life than being tied to someone. His mind crosses on his fellow adventurers and what they might be up to.
Zork has a reflective moment as he waits for the lovely elf to make up her mind. He tries to envision what it will be like to settle, have children and be 'happy' in some place he can call his own. For sure he is not ready for that. His happiness is in the depths of adventure!
Out of Character: : While we wait on Icon to finish his studies do we want to make any plans, come to a consensus on our next move? We all seem to be split up doing our own thing.
Out of Character: It appears that Caelum and I were unsuccessful in spotting you all at the Archerfeast festivities, so I'm kind of in limbo Here's hoping my question on when I'm supposed to be there gets answered, or else I might be showing up super early!
Out of Character: I think we will all be meeting at the sword lords place so we can be shown off to all and receive our reward for taking or the stag lord. Then we can get back to finish exploring the original charter and then decide what we want to do.
Oathday 4th Erastus
The morning chill wakes you all, having not gone overboard on the previous day's festivities. Theaton is just a little tired (Fatigued) while Mykael just hopes to Iomedae that some of his words didn't degrade her reputation in town. Everyone takes the time to prepare and heads over to the castle in the southwest of town. You make your way there individually, quicker than you expected, and coincidentally come together as a group as you get close.
People are already watching from their windows as you get close and flower petals litter the street. The guards at the front gate recognise you as the town's heroes and let you through - along with any mounts and accompanying animals - bowing their heads in respect. Another guard escorts you through the plain, grassy lawns decorated with statues of past heroes and gently sloping up towards the keep.
The massive stone building is easily 400 feet across and rises 50 feet into the air, the fourth storey being oaken and its hoardings jutting out. The drawbridge is lowered, allowing you inside into the large entrance chamber. Servants are constructing benches for the notable citizens of the city and an impossibly thin man dressed in violet velvet and silver silks approaches you briskly. His long golden hair spills out from his ostentatious feathered hat and his green eyes scan you all quickly
He looks almost exclusively at Archival as he speaks hurriedly with the heavy accent of Opparan gentry, "A pleasure to meet the heroes who slew the Stag Lord. I am Sir Sidgad Romli, head decorator of this castle."
He looks Archival up and down, "Your style is a little stale, but entirely passable. Your jewelry makes up for missing the latest trends."
He inspects Mykael's uniform in turn, "Let me guess, your armor is a symbol of your religion and your station and you refuse to take it off in public. At least it's polished and well kept, but I can still see nicks and scratches. Make sure you tuck in those rags you're wearing underneath."
He doesn't even approach Theaton or Zork but addresses you while keeping his distance. "Did neither of you have anything better to wear today? At the very least you're clean, if a little unkempt. Maybe I can find you something to borrow. Thank the gods you did not arrive late!
"Also, the mutt and the beast must stay outside, in the stables, muzzled."
Theaton adresses him back, "He is not a Mutt this is White Fang my companion. Where I go he goes. IF he is not welcome here then we will take our leave. Have a good day." Theaton turns and heads back towards the entrance. Looking at his companions, "I will see you outside."
When we first meet each other again before entering the gates I greet everyone. "Well met, each of you! The Swordlords sent me a message via magic so I rushed to make it here. Did everyone enjoy Archerfeast? I looked for you all, but had no luck."
Smiling at Sir Romli, I reply, "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Sir Romli. Please forgive my uncontemporary accouterment; I have been afield in the Greenbelt for some time now and this is my third day back with civilization."
At Theaton's response, I show my shock with merely a raised eyebrow and reply, "Very well then. Where will we be able to find you later?"

The man grips his head in an overly extravagant display of annoyance. "You would throw away fame, fortune, glory and power over a little slight to your pet?"
He sighs heavily, "The other nobles do keep pets, so I can excuse you for having one. But please, groom him, trim his hair and make sure he doesn't bite anyone. Everybody would feel much more comfortable with a muzzle on him. The stable boys should be able to help.
"In the meantime," he turns to Zork. "You will need a change of garb a small miraculous makeover. I have half a mind to just put an illusion over you but where's the fun in that? Come follow me. I have an extensive wardrobe in my chamber."
Out of Character: I'm not sure on this, but I assume Zork will comply with leaving Grizzly in the stable, or didn't bring him at all.
