Zork curses the sound and the probable cause of it but still looks to find the source.
Out of Character: How far are we from Oleg's as in how many days of travel.
You keep looking for the source of the sound, but cannot pinpoint it. It truly seems to be surrounding you.
When Theaton speaks to the wolf, it starts confused, saying "You speak? Never heard a human speak. I don't know what sound is. New sound. Don't know. Want sleep." It starts growling and barking in all directions.
Out of Character: You are about 18 hours away from Oleg's, Just over two days travel. That includes forest for the first 13 hours and grassy plains for the last 5 hours.
Pushing on will require constitution checks to avoid damage, but staying awake will cause fatigue.
Zork holds his weapon firmly looking in all directions to see what is causing the noise but at the same time is a bit spooked by the wolf.
Out of Character: Just to be clear, Zork didn't understand what the wolf was saying. Theaton spoke to it normally and it responded with a series of whimpers, growls and barks.
The noise does not let up for a good half hour. Theaton thinks he sees a flash of movement every now and again but cannot get a good bead on it.
It stops for a few minutes, but as soon as you get comfortable, the trumpeting starts right up again.
Theaton will stand up and talk to the darkness. Friends While we do enjoy the fun and games you need to let us get some sleep. We will in return leave you some gifts. So please let us get our rest. Theaton will sit back down and try to get comfortable again.
Zork shakes his head knowing that these fey will see the death of everyone in the camp before they let us sleep. Zork sighs and nothing more knowing that when he get's to Oleg's he will be looking for cold iron against the child ghosts.
The trumpeting stops and a spooky disembodied voice sounds from all around you. "Show us the gifts first!"
Out of Character: Add a diplomacy check when you leave your gift(S).
