Zork shakes his head. He will definitely ask Oleg about this when he gets there. Zork dries himself and continues the journey hoping to reach Oleg's before the night.
The fey can be heard laughing high up in the trees, but they stop when Theaton thanks them. He may have confused them.
The forest begins to thin as it slowly turns into grassy plains. Despite it only being morning you can predict that you will have to push yourselves for two hours to reach the fort by dusk.
Out of Character: So your option are to Hustle (0 damage for 1 hour, 1 damage and fatigue the second, then doubling each hour). Or to Forced March (Constitution check or 1d6 damage and fatigue).
Please also add perception checks.
Zork sees no need to reach exactly at dusk but then again moving at night may attract unwanted attention so he decides to hustle as a good night's rest at the fort will quickly restore whatever he lost from hustling.
At Oleg's he will inquire about the Fey and how to keep them permanently away. He will also get a room and hot meal.
Out of Character: 2 hours of hustling gets you there before sunset. I wrote damage, but I should've written nonlethal damage, may bad.
One of the guards, Tarak, spots you from the wooden wall and shouts into the fort, "The explorers have returned! You took your time!"
The gates swing open and Oleg and Kesten stand there, glad to see your return. Their moods change as they noitce the missing cleric and your tired state. Oleg asks, "Where is Jhod? What happened?"
Zork explains what happened from beginning to end with emphasis on the temple and the supplies he will need to rebuild. He also tells him about the boar.
Then without a breath he sounds desperate, "I need some kind of amulet or something that wards off fey, ghosts pixies and the like. What do you have Oleg?"
