There is an agreement for her to negotiate a voluntary sale, and there have been discussions between the NBA and Shelly Sterling, the source said.
The NBA banned Donald Sterling for life because of racist remarks made by the billionaire. The league is preparing a vote by other team owners that would force the couple to sell the franchise. Ref. CNN

The NBA announced a resolution with Sterling's estranged wife and the trust under which the Clippers will be sold to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, pending approval by the NBA Board of Governors. A June 3 meeting to discuss forcing the team's sale was canceled.
