It can't be a robbery. She was leaving a casino and if someone wanted to rob her, they would not have blocked her and shot her twelve times, that line of reasoning makes no sense.

Comments: My condolences to Dana's family. I think we need to mindful that she could be our sister, mother or friend. I'm very sad to hear about her passing and I'm very concerned at the state of this country.
Gosh man I feel really bad for Dana. She was a good woman trying to make a difference in the lives of people. What I don't understand is why are we making the connection between this murder and the Coolman trial? Dana was involved in several cases it could have been linked to any other case I don't know man I just find the whole thing very fishy.

Comments: Just read on the news that now security is being provided to judges and lawyers involved in the Vindra Naipaul-Coolman murder trial after Ms. Seetahal's murder. What about the rest of us? Don't we deserve the same treatment and protection? Or are we just merely dogs under the sun for this government?

Comments: 5.62 ammunition? That's not common ammo we hear on gang related murders. This type of ammo is used by the military and has been designed specifically to penetrate whatever armor state witnesses or police officers use while on duty. In a few words: They wanted to ensure she was killed.
Hits have been happening often right outside the courthouse, at the KFC in Maraval and other places. This case will hopefully be the last straw and the police / government will get serious about this crime situation. It can't be that anyone that walks or drives in public can be an easy target for gunmen.

Comments: Why are the TV channels afraid to discuss the case? This isn't Cuba or Venezuela you know. I understand the need for respect but at the same time discussion such as the one happening here needs to take place on national TV and radio. It was a hit and the police knows that very well.
According to Crime Stoppers, a $1 Million reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the murder of Dana Seetahal.
